Cheryl Scott-Mouzon

Program Manager of outreach and Scholar selection

As Program Manager, Ms. Scott-Mouzon is responsible for managing all aspects of outreach and selection for the Young Scholars Program, Undergraduate Transfer scholarship, and graduate scholarships. 

Ms. Scott-Mouzon has been an educator for more than 25 years including 15 years in high school admissions and outreach.  As part of her six-year tenure as an educational advisor with the Foundation, Ms. Scott-Mouzon conducted outreach for the Young Scholars program with local audiences. 

In addition, Ms. Scott-Mouzon has been a classroom teacher to middle school students from both public and independent schools and an adviser to high school students.  She has also spent time as a radio announcer, and was director of her own summer drama camp for several years.

Ms. Scott-Mouzon holds a B.A. in speech arts, theatre and drama and a minor in psychology from Adelphi University.
