June Folliard

Lead Educational Adviser

As a Lead Educational Adviser, Ms. Folliard provides academic advising and access to educational opportunities to the Foundation’s Young Scholars.

Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Folliard taught English at a public high school in Northern Virginia. In addition to teaching, she coached track and field and sponsored various extracurricular activities. She has also spent time working in policy, specifically in education policy with the James B. Hunt Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy, and in youth policy with the Forum for Youth Investment.

Ms. Folliard holds a B.A. in English and History, as well as an M.A. in teaching from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
