Kristin Harper
Educational Adviser
As an Educational Adviser, Kristin provides academic advising and access to educational opportunities to the Foundation’s Young Scholars.
Before joining the Foundation staff, Kristin served as Assistant Professor of History at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to teaching the department’s Latin American/Caribbean history offerings, Kristin taught World History, incorporating into her introductory courses a service learning component. Kristin’s interest in service stems, in part, from her experience in the nonprofit sector and her work and travels in Mexico, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
Kristin received her B.A. from Boston University, her M.A. from Northeastern University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
