Chief Technology Officer & CISO

Manny Rodriguez is the Chief Technology Officer and CISO for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation overseeing the organization’s IT and security needs.

Manny brings a wealth of experience in the Information Technology and Cybersecurity realm, with more than 20 years of operational and global experience. Prior to joining the foundation, Manny was the Managing Director of MER Information Services, which is an advisory firm providing cross-sector management consulting and investment due-diligence within the technology landscape. Manny also held a leadership position at General Atlantic as the Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure at General Atlantic of 18 years, he was instrumental in growing the organization across 9 countries and 12 sites, with technology and facilities under his purview.

Manny maintains a globally recognized cybersecurity certification (CISSP) from the (ISC)² ®, (ISC2.org) since 2005, and is very active in this community, frequently speaking at engagements and raising awareness. He was also a very active member at the Program on Negotiation for business executives, provided by the consortium of Harvard, Tufts, and MIT Universities.

Manny earned his Bachelors of Science from St. John’s University, with a minor in Business.
