Community College Transfer

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Community College Transfer Initiative provides more than a thousand exceptional low- to moderate-income community-college students across the country with the opportunity to attend the nation’s most selective four-year institutions. The program partners with eight highly-selective colleges and universities, as well as dozens of community colleges across the country.

Grant Recipients

The Foundation’s Community College Transfer Initiative (CCTI) is designed to help high-achieving community-college students earn bachelor’s degrees at top colleges and universities nationwide. The Foundation has invested $6.8 million to develop targeted programs at eight highly-selective four-year institutions:

Bucknell University

Cornell University

Mount Holyoke College

University of California, Berkeley

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

University of Southern California
