Through participation in the CCTI, Bucknell University seeks to increase the number of outstanding low-income community-college students who transfer to the university every year. Bucknell has developed partnerships with five community colleges to develop sustainable pathways for exceptional community-college students to continue their education on a four-year campus. In the fall of 2006, Bucknell implemented several new programs aimed at easing the transition from community college to the liberal arts campus.
