Biography

Highlights of Young Scholar Experience:  Jason participated in various summer programs, including journalism camps at Northwestern and Columbia University. He also attended a number of running workshops throughout California.

Inspiration: Attending Deerfield Academy instilled in Jason the importance of considering what it means to pursue a life well-lived, being an engaged member of a community, and finding joy in learning.

Aspiration:   Jason is currently majoring in economics at Princeton University and hopes to work in the financial services industry upon graduation.

Making a Difference:  Jason was a fixture with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Franklin County, Massachusetts, near Deerfield Academy.

Accolades:  At Deerfield, Jason won the Robert B. Crow Award, given to the "outstanding scholar in the senior class." In addition, he was a member of the Cum Laude Society, was recognized by the Harvard Model United Nations Conference, was co-captain of the varsity cross country team, and was named editor-in-chief of the high school paper. He also qualified for the USA Mathematical Olympiad in tenth grade.
