“My father passed away a few years after we moved to the U.S. While overcoming this tragedy I had to adjust to a different culture and learn a third language. Even though I was ten at the time, I grew up overnight and resolved to succeed in school so I could attend a great university and take full advantage of the opportunities my father gave me when he was alive.”
