Phase One application requirements include:

If you are selected as a semifinalist based on the Phase One application, you will be invited to submit additional information in Phase Two of the application process.
Phase Two application requirements include:
The Phase Two deadline is February 25, 2014 (closes at 12:00 p.m., noon, Central Time).
The Phase One online application opened October 2, 2013, and must be submitted no later than November 26, 2013 (by 12:00 p.m., noon, Central Time).
Before submitting an online application and supporting documents, applicants should ensure that they meet all eligibility and submittal requirements. Applicants should follow directions carefully and complete all appropriate application sections.

If you are selected as a semifinalist based on the Phase One application, you will be invited to submit additional information in Phase Two of the application process. The Phase Two online application must be submitted, along with all supporting documentation, no later than February 25, 2014 (by 12:00 p.m., noon, Central Time). Nominations for Phase Two must be submitted by the faculty representative no later than February 27, 2014 (by 12:00 p.m., noon, Central Time).

After you register, you'll be directed to the eligibility quiz. If you are eligible, the remainder of the application will launch automatically. If you are not eligible, you will receive a notification, and will not be permitted to continue with the application.
You may complete the application in any order you prefer. Applicants may return to the application to update and edit as frequently as desired until you submit your application or the application deadline has passed.
To avoid losing data that you enter:
The required online recommendation form must be submitted by an academic arts professional (an advisor, instructor, or professor well acquainted with your work and character). This person must be an academic professional at your current or most recent institution.
The recommendation form must be submitted by your recommender by 12:00 p.m., noon, Central Time, on November 26, 2013. To ensure that your recommender receives the email notification in time to submit the recommendation, you should complete that section of the application no later than November 24, 2013.
