College Seniors and recent college graduates who are interested in the Foundation’s Graduate Scholarship Program may not apply directly to the Foundation, but must be nominated by the Foundation’s Faculty Representative at their institution. Each college or university may nominate up to two students to be considered for the Graduate Scholarship.
The Foundation’s Graduate Scholarship review panel – comprising distinguished faculty and professionals – rigorously evaluates each application to identify exceptional individuals who have not only achieved academic excellence, but also demonstrated the will to become leaders in their chosen fields.
While the Foundation considers academic excellence first in evaluating candidates, competitive applicants must also demonstrate unmet financial need, which has two components:
All scholarship nominees must plan to begin their first graduate degree program on a full-time basis at an accredited university in the fall of 2009. Recipients are chosen from a national pool, with approximately 1,000 nominees competing each year for approximately 35 awards.
For more information contact the designated Faculty Representative at your school.
