The Foundation matches an educational adviser with each Young Scholar to support the student in reaching his/her fullest potential.  The advisers work closely with students and their families throughout the year, providing academic guidance, assessing needs and opportunities, identifying resources, and determining the Foundation’s support.

Educational advisers collaborate with Young Scholars and their parents or guardians to develop Individual Learning Plans – a unique combination of opportunities and resources tailored to each student’s specific talents and needs.  Advisers also offer assistance with career exploration and college planning, support student academic progress, and goal setting, and identify additional areas for growth and learning.

Young Scholars and their families communicate frequently with their educational advisers by phone, email, and through in-person visits at home and school.
