Dr. Charles Schwartz

Dr. Charles Schwartz serves as the Director of Research at the Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) in Greenwood, SC. Prior to this, he has served as Director of the Center of Molecular Studies and Director of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory at GG C. Dr. Schwartz holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Colgate University, a M.S. in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University, and completed postdoctoral fellowship s at the University of Vermont and the University of Utah. Dr. Schwartz is Vice President of the American Board of Medical Genetics and an adjunct professor at both Clemson University and the University of South Carolina.
