Stephanie Frank Singer attended Yale University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. After a year of experimentation at Stanford University (nominally in the Computer Science Ph.D. program) she moved to New York University where she obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics. Singer was on the faculty at Haverford College for eleven years, during which time she created and taught courses, wrote several research papers and her first book on symmetry in physics, and earned tenure in the Mathematics Department.
After her departure she finished a second book on symmetry in quantum mechanics. In addition to managing a portfolio of residential real estate, Singer currently owns Campaign Scientific, a company providing strategic data analysis for election campaigns, public-interest election oversight projects and business. Dr. Singer prides herself on her ability to talk tech with anyone and to customize her approach, depending on the strengths of her audience, team, or client.
