Career Development Specialist

Ms. Zielinski joined the Foundation in June 2010. She is the Career Development Specialist, working to create professional mentorship and internship opportunities for Cooke Scholars. In addition, Ms. Zielinski focuses part of her time on advising transfer and graduate scholars.

Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Zielinski worked as an academic advisor in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. She also has experience working with transfer and community college students from previous positions.

Ms. Zielinski graduated with a M.A.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech and with honors from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a B.A. in Biology and Sociology/Anthropology and a Certificate in Human Services.
