Christine BorgeltSenior Specialist, Scholar Experience
Christine Borgelt is a senior specialist for scholar experience, where she champions program-wide goals, priorities, and initiatives through collaborative curriculum development. Her emphasis is to support scholars, families, and staff through meaningful learning experiences throughout the scholarship process.
Dr. Borgelt began her career as a school psychologist, and brings with her over ten years of experience as a private practitioner. As a licensed school and clinical psychologist, she has a specialty in children and young adults with asynchronous development, including giftedness, learning disabilities, and multi-exceptionalities. In 2005, she started her time at the Foundation as an educational adviser, and has been collaborating with families and students to develop individualized advising and enrichment opportunities ever since.
Dr. Borgelt earned her M.S. and Ed.S. degrees in School Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and her Ph.D. in Psychological and Cultural Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University in S.C.
