Erica originally joined the Foundation in May of 2012 as a summer events intern.  At the end of her term, she stayed on for a few months longer to help with logistics for the Jack Kent Cooke Centennial event.  After her internship ended, she worked at the National Conference Center as a conference planning manager.  After that short hiatus, Erica found her way back to the Foundation in June 2017 as the Events Associate.  Her responsibilities include handling logistics for all summer events.
Erica initially earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2005 she graduated Cum Laude, double majoring with two business degrees and a minor in computer technology, earning her Bachelor of Science from Ferrum College.  After entering the work field, her path changed as she was driven toward an industry that was more interactive than accounting.  She started the transition into events by volunteering and taking graduate courses at George Washington University.
