Marissa Lifshen SteinbergerManager, Scholarship Programs
Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Steinberger gained valuable experience while working in a number of high schools and on college campuses supporting students as they pursued their dreams of higher education. At the post-secondary level, she worked in admissions at Barnard College and in student affairs at Northwestern University. She also served as the director of college counseling at a public school in Manhattan before moving to Atlanta to become a college access specialist with a program called Project GRAD focusing her efforts on underserved youth.
Ms. Steinberger earned an A.B. in Psychology from Brown University and an Ed.M. in Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University with a specialization in Secondary School Counseling. She recently completed a Certificate in Facilitation from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
