Local Support
Since our founding in 2000, we have provided over $126 million in grants to organizations that serve high-achieving students with financial need across the country.
As part of our investment in our local community, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation also supports youth-serving nonprofit organizations that address educational access and achievement in Loudoun County, Virginia -- where we are headquartered. Our grantmaking in Loudoun County builds on a ten year legacy of supporting organizations across Northern Virginia, metropolitan Washington, D.C., and Maryland that are helping students with financial need reach their full potential through education.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation typically awards only a limited number of grants to nonprofit organizations whose efforts complement our mission of advancing the education of exceptionally promising students who have financial need. We rarely, if ever, fund unsolicited proposals.
However, if you would like to receive updates on our grants, scholarship programs, and other education news from the Foundation, you may subscribe to our Foundation newsletter. For specific inquiries, you may contact our grants department directly by emailing grants@jkcf.org.
