Educators: Recommend a 7th Grader for our Young Scholars Program!
We’ve been grateful to exchange ideas for closing the Excellence Gap with teacher leaders, counselors, and administrators and now we’re calling on you again. In pursuit of our mission to support high-achieving students with financial need, we select a cohort of seventh graders each year for our Young Scholars Program.
From eighth grade through senior year of high school, Young Scholars receive the following support from the Cooke Foundation:
- A personal academic and college counselor
- Funding for academic and enrichment programs in the summer and during the school year
- Internship and study abroad opportunities
- Educational resources including books and technology

We also invite you to share information about our College Scholarship Program for high school students and the Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship for community college students. These applications open in the fall but your students and their families can learn more about their eligibility requirements and sign up to reminded to apply by clicking the links in the previous sentence.
