Educational Adviser, Young Scholars

As an educational adviser, Gina provides academic advising and access to educational opportunities to the Foundation’s Young Scholars.

She has over twelve years of experience working in various educational institutions and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the Cooke Foundation, she served for eight years as a Senior Advisor for the District of Columbia College Access Program at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus. In that position, she counseled and assisted first generation, low income, and multicultural families through the college entrance process. Before that she worked doing bilingual outreach for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and helping students with registration at Berklee College of Music.

Gina earned a B.A. in International Studies and a Latin American Studies Certificate from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
