Meagan Buczek
Educational Adviser, Young Scholars ProgramAs an educational adviser, Meagan provides academic advising and access to educational opportunities to the Foundation’s Cooke Young Scholars Program.
Before joining the Foundation, Meagan taught, coached, and advised students at Maret School in Washington, DC and Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA. She taught chemistry and physics and coached cross country, basketball, and softball. As an advisor, Meagan worked with students on course selection and all aspects of high school life including leadership, extra-curricular activities, and college preparation. Prior to teaching, Meagan researched and reported on the impacts of climate-related natural disasters and conservation issues at both the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and World Wildlife Fund.
Meagan has an A.B. in Geosciences from Princeton University and a Master in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto.
