Events Manager, Community Engagement & Experiential Learning

Melissa Jacklin is the Events Manager at the Foundation, responsible for leading the development and implementation of Cooke Scholar events throughout the year.

Before joining the Cooke Foundation, Melissa worked for The George Washington University – School of Nursing for four years, where she handled all student engagement events and provided academic support to graduate and undergraduate students. Prior to this position, Melissa worked in the admissions department for four years at Marymount University and Sweet Briar College.

Melissa received her B.A. in Spanish and Business Administration from Sweet Briar College and her M.A. in Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University.
